Wierd Symptoms, Please Help I thought I was Going To Die?

It started sunday early hours at about 2-4 in the morning and i couldn't sleep. I had some really strange nightmares and then i was really hot and really cold. Then I woke up that morning and just felt really weak and not myself. Then later on sunday night 11-12 ish I was sleeping, woke up and rushed to the toilet violently vomiting. I sat back down and thought it was just the flu or something, then the top of my stomach really hurt everytime i took a breath. It got worse and worse until i found it extremely difficult to breath. Then for a few minutes I kept thinking i was going to die, I was sure of it. Then I vomited again and the pains went away for a bit then they came back. The best way i could repress the pains were to sit on the side of the bed crouched over with my head in my hands breaking as little as possible. Then after that I can't really remember what happened, I either passed out or feel asleep because I was too tired? But then in the morning I woke up and I felt a little better (still feeling very weak). I've just eaten some porridge and drunk some water and i'm waiting to see if my body will reject it. Someone please help, will this get worse? Shall i go to the hospital??

Please, please go to the ER room.  This just happened to my daughter's 45 year old girlfriend last week!  She experienced the same thing.  She went out and had a few drinks, came home, fell asleep, woke up throwing up with difficulty breathing.  She fell asleep again and woke up about 3 hours later.  She continued to feel sick, nauseous, and vomited again.  A little while later she vomited again.  Then again.  Finally around 3 pm her roommate demanded to ta took her to the ER and thank goodness she did.  The girlfriend of my daughter's had a major heart attack during her sleep and that was why she woke up throwing up and had problems breathing.  The doctor said if she had not gone to the ER she would not be here today.  Two days later she had a quadruple bypass, and 4 days later she left the hospital which was yesterday, and now she has a better heart than before.  I never knew vomiting and difficulty breathing could mean you had a heart attack.  This is a good thing to know, so please don't wait.  It is always better to go to the ER when we don't know why something is happening.  That is what they are there for, and money doesn't matter.  We can't take it with us, right? :o)  Let me know how you are doing and if everything turned out good.  Hang in there and go!

Go see your doctor. In the meantime slowly drink fluids but make it something with electrolytes in it instead of water. Something like Gatorade or Powerade. If they have it there. There should be something of that kind of thing. From your question wording I am assuming you don't live in the USA. As we don't call anything porridge and I am not sure if you are talking about what we refer to cream of wheat or oatmeal or exactly what. But starting back on bland food is best. Although I think I would just try liquids to begin with. However if you are keeping it down then just go slowly.

I think you need to see your GP , but if your concerned go down to the hospital and they will run some tests to see what is going on.
