Hello, i have a problem that i dont know the solution too.
I have ,as yet, an unidentitfied virus, the symptoms of which are nausea and fatigue.
I have had this now for 7 weeks, and i seem to be under attack by more viruses, and im not sure if its the same virus all the time. Its a virus which comes and goes at various times.Last year i had it for 8 weeks before it went.I have had blood and liver tests , but everything has returned a postive result.Do you feel i need to see a specialist? What area of medicine does my sort of problem fall under?Do you have any idea as to what could be the problem?.
Mike
Hello,
Thanks for writing.How are you?
Without examination, confirming a diagnosis is tough but various possibilities for your symptoms are there. As it is bilateral(on both legs) so it can be due to ankle sprain, gout (accumulation of uric acid crystals within the fluid of your ankle),ankle arthritis, problems with blood flow like DVT(can impair normal circulation and lead to swelling around the ankles) obesity, and varicose veins.
Such swelling can also be caused by a serious condition of the kidney, heart, liver or blood vessels, but many other factors can contribute to its onset, including eating a poor diet high in salt and carbohydrates , abusing laxatives and diuretics, sodium retention, varicose veins, allergic reactions and neuromuscular disorders.
Elevate the effected leg. Also wear leg wedges while sleeping, support socks and proper fitting shoes and socks.
Indulge in moderate exercises like walking, avoid prolonged standing and avoid sitting with the feet dependent.Decrease salt intake and drink plenty of water.
If the symptoms persist or continues to worsen, please consult a physician.
Hope this helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries.Kind regards.
I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM BEEN TO THE DOCTORS AND NO HELP THERE...
