MRI scan results , can anyone suggest the exact problem???

Female 39, last six month have severe pain in right leg and radiating to hip and backside. The MRI scan results shows like

There are multiple foci of altered marrow signal which shows hypointense signal on
T1 weighted images and hyperintense signal in T2 weighted images and STIR images noted involving C7,T4,T7,T9,T10,L1,L3,L5,S1 vertebrae .There is associated pedicle involment at T4(Right),T7(Right),T10(Bilateral),L3(Right),L5(Left).There is compression collapse of T7 vertebral body.Disc desiccation involving L5/S1 disc.Posterior annular tear at L5/S1 disc.Annular disc bulge with posterior disc protnsion at L5/S1 causing bilateral minimal neural forminal narrowing and indentation over thecal sac.Conus and cauda equina are well visualised and appear normal,spinal canal dimension is within normal limite.No intradural / extradural space occupying lesion seen.No evidence of arachnoiditis seen.Para spinal soft tissue's apper normal.

please suggest what could be the nextstep

.MULTIPLE  FOCI  OF  ALTERD  MARROW  SIGNAL  INVOLVING C7, T4, T7, T9, T10, L1, L3, L5, S1  VERTEBRAE   WITH ASSOCIATED  PEDICLE  INVOLVEMENT AT MULTIPLE LEVELS, S/O  MOST  LIKEKY  METASTATIC   ETIOLOGY.
_SUGGESTED  HISTOPATHALOGICAL  CORRELATION. COMRESSION  COLLAPSE  OF  T7  VERTEBRAL  BODY. ANNULAR  DISC  BULDGE  WITH  POSTERIOR  DISC  PROTRUSION  AT  L5/S1  CAUSING  BILATERAL  MINIMAL  NEURAL  FORAMINAL  NARROWING  AND  INDENTATION  OVER  THECAL  SAC.

Is it symptoms of Cancer, what are all the specific test further to clear the doubts???

Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
You have a problem at multiple vertebral level. This could be due to osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, low calcium or low Vit D, Crohn’s disease, etc. The cause will have to be found out and treated. Along with that you may need surgery at certain levels, braces especially a thoraco-lumbar brace. A close co-ordination between a rheumatologist and a neurologist will help. Take care!

Hi, all of the findings on your MRI involve problems that are outside the spinal cord and also in the vertebrae themselves - so you are having a problem that is due to problems in the skeleton and not in the spinal cord.

You posted on a Multiple Sclerosis forum and your MRI does not look like there are any spinal cord lesions that would be seen with MS.

You would do better to place this question in the Back Community
