Medical Mystery - Dr House needed.

Hi.
I hope this is the right place to tell about my situation,  if not could you please pass it to the right place. I appreciate your time.
If i can, I would like to give you a detailed description of my situation and the events leading up to this in a specific way in the hope that I will be fully understood and someone would be able to help.
My name is Craig and i am 35 years old. I am English but have lived in Norway for the past 8 years and I am fully integrated into the country with permanent residency. I am married to a norwegian and we have three beautiful, loving children.
My pain problems started about two years ago. Before this i was working in a physical job as a Plumber and gas technician, a profession i had been doing since leaving school. The onset of pain started gradually. The activities i was doing around the time the onset started were running,  something that i was just starting to do. I also were playing football again and the effort i put in, in the last training session caused the lose of sensation in both my legs for a short period of time ( i will mention all things i believe could be related ) Soon after this i notice my arms weakening especially when i was working above my head and a deep pain developing in my lower back. Over serveral months of trying to work through this, other symptoms started to develop,  i noticed stiffness in my neck and shooting pains in the region between my shoulder blades shooting out from both sides of my spine which seemed to be aggravated by working on my knees and working above my head with a arched back. Aslo driving around 3-4 hours per day was causing my lower back and neck stiffness and pain. The pain or the movement seemed to caused many muscles in my back to go into a super tense condition. During this time i would also have dizzy spells especially when the pain was at it worsed. My condition over months was slowly detoriating and after working intensely on my knees for one week fitting underfloor heating and then two weeks of long hours fitting heavy industrial piping above my head with a tensed arched back on step ladders, the pain  and pressure intensified to a level i coudnt take anymore and that is quite serious for me because i usually have a high pain tolorance. I contacted my doctor who suggest that i go on sick leave and he also suggested doing some core muscle exercises. So that night i tried doing some exercises. To my shock i was unable to do one situp, it was impossible.  I had no function at all in my lower back.  Situps were normally quite easy, doing 50 situps wasnt usually a problem. Also other core exercises showed much weakness.
That night as i laid in bed, i put a pillow in the arched of my back, looking for some release in tension. Then all of a sudden, i started to become very dizzy and the feeling i was going to pass out. I went to the kitchen and then started getting a very intense stomach pain, to the point that my wife rang an ambulance. The stomach pain and the dizzyness continued and my heartbeat was going up to 190 bpm in resting state. I was admitted to hospital and was given several shots of iv morphine which helped bring my pulse rate down and some effect on the pain. The nurse was astonished at the amount of iv morphine i took without getting substantial pain relief and still been able to talk and walk normally(well in serious pain ) I had never taken anything stronger than a paracetamol before. I was getting iv morphine every two hour plus iv diazepam. After the third day i managed to lay down and sleep a little. Before that the pain in my stomach was so server that i was stood up for nearly 3 days without rest, pacing the hospital bedroom in a state of pain, panic and i admit anger for the lack of urgency. The pain in my stomach was not deep and they were no pressure points. The pain seemed to be only skin deep. During the first week of hospital my C.K levels rose constantly to a level of just below 4000 and the week after slowly returned to normal. The doctors didnt know why but kept me on a heart monitoring system as my heartbeat would start to rise suddenly with peaks of pain. After the ck level normalised i still had strong stomach pains and my lower back would hurt from time to time but i think the morphine managed to mask it, even with high level dosages of morphine, the pain in the stomach would only be manageable for two hours at a time.
After two weeks, i was sent to the gastrointestinal department for future investigations. In the next 12 weeks of hospital the gastro team did three colonoscopies, two endoscopies, camera video pill, MRI of intestines and spine and none of these showed anything notable.  My wife was becoming increasingly worried as i was losing a lot of weight, still in a lot of pain and taking morphine several times a day was taken its toll on me both mentally and physically, i was a wreak. We constantly requested been sent to another hospital but drammen hospital refused and also refused a second opinion. We asked to be sent to a different department but this was also refused,  it was a living nightmare. After 14 weeks in hospital and most of that time spent with no investigated work been done, I was released on high levels of morphine in a total in dignified way with no support and no diagnosis. After four months of continued prescriptions and failed attempts of getting support in Norway, I made the decision to go stay with my sister in England and seek support there. I saw a professor in gastroenterology and after going through the hospital journal and images,  he was shocked at the treatment I recieved and didn't understand why I was kept in a gastrointestinal ward with no indication of this been the problem. He said that to be able to continue investigations it would be best to try stopping the morphine and diazepan to clearly see the pain areas, weakness and the progression of the symptoms. So after this I applied to go to a private rehab in Scotland (Castle Craig) and with the help from them I was able to be fully financially supported through Cross border funding from the public health authority in norway. This scheme is very strict and if a EU country and some other country connected to the EU cannot give treatment within a reasonable time then a person is intitled to recieve treatment paid for by that country. I stay at Castle Craig for five months and came off all pain medication but still remained in pain. I have returned to norway hoping that I will be taken seriously now that im off  the  pain medication. So at the moment I am awaiting further evaluation and becoming increasingly frustrated by only been supported by my G.P who has me on a regime of five different antidepressants which should help with pain and my increasing depression with hopelessness ( I returned four months ago ) The pain has changed somewhat. The pain in my stomach has decreased but been replaced with a burning sensation. The lower back pain has increased to chronic deep aching pain with some numbness in areas and with also some burning sensation coming and going. It is aggravated by bending and normal everyday movement which cause days of intense pressure feeling. Also muscle weakness is in my legs and arms. I feel physically and emotionally destroyed and feel sad for my wife and children. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Hello~I am so sorry you are in so much pain.

My first thought as I read your post was "he needs to see a chiropractor" honestly, all of your symptoms point to misplaced vertebrae and pinched nerves. No drug or pain pill, no matter how strong, is going to help if this is the case. I highly recommend you make an appointment with one as soon as possible, I see one as I have had very bad pain and spasms in my back, etc, the MRI showed herniated discs, and other issues. Believe me, after a few treatments, you should start to feel lots better.

God bless.
