Ms.

My right leg has been partially numb, since November, 2011.  On Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend I was shopping w/my daughter and my lower back pained me all day.  Sunday morning when I got up, my back did not hurt anymore, but the right side of my right leg was and is numb, the muscle in the calf of my leg was painful like after you have had a chrlie horse. I have had an MRI, showed nothing, I had a nerve conduction test done, no abnormalities and I saw a chiropractor for a few weeks. nothing has helped - when I get out of bed in the morning or get up from sitting for a while and put weight on that leg, it is slightly painful and I limp for the first few steps.  Can this be a circulatory problem or perhaps something with the calf muscle - it is really become a nuisance.  Thank you.  Becky Rogers - e-mail ***@****

nerves are not always what can make body parts go numb you need to get a blood test to see if there is a circulatory problem they well tell you instantly if that is the problem or it could be from standing on it to long at work all of a sudden when your used to sitting around something like that
if thats the case you need to do leg work outs

I have this problem to a t, that you just described.  I am currently undergoing treatment for Hep C.  What the doctors told me is that it sounds as though I have rheumatoid arthritis.  When tested, my blood test was fine & I did alot more reading on the liver, besides being rhumatoid, it could be an autoimmune disorder & when I read even further, these same symptoms can come up in individuals with Hep C.  It will also go away with treatment.  Where-ares if it was rhumatoid, it would never go away.

It does sound like somethingnis interfering with a nerve to the leg.  Have you seen a neurologist?  Or an orthopedist who specializes in the spine?
