Nevermind. Nature gave way: my dad passed away yesterday morning in his sleep. He was only in his early 60s. I woke up crying :'(
The cost for autopsy costs a fortune, but my uncle guessed it was more likely leukemia or bone cancer. The explanation is too long, but the nurses and doctors never clarified until I learned of this Privacy thing where it's only between the patient and the doctor, and no loved ones are supposed to know (a law was passed for it). My dad never told us about it because he didn't want us to worry about him all the time. Still, it's very sad.....
What makes you think it's anemia? Also, when you say not walking straight, do you mean not walking with a normal, straight manner or do you mean limping? When the doctors said it wasn't anemia, what did they say it might be? There are MANY things that can cause feet to swell and become painful including injury, nutrition and diet, health factors such as whether he has diabetes, high blood pressure or cholesterol, has ever experienced blood clots, diet, and even though it sounds silly, whether he has the right shoes. Putting his feet up and drinking plenty of water are good things. Is there pain only when he is walking or more often? Is his diet high in sodium (salty foods)? Does he or his family history include a history of blood clots or gout? Anemia is a condition where the body has a lack of red blood cells. The most common symptoms are fatigue, pale skin, headaches, cardiorespiratory symptoms, and even dificulty sleeping-not foot swelling or pain.
