Un diagnosed pelvic and abdominal pain

Has anyone any information that could make sense of my worsening condition. I am 52 and have had pelvic pain left side for around a year - I had a ca125, smear and pelvic ultrasound around a year ago which was negative apart from a few small fibroids ( usual for my age I am told) and some fluid in the pelvic area. My womb tilts backwards and I had novasure  treatment 5 yrs ago. I have had pain in my thighs for ages and increasing pain in my lower back and left hip.  I also have gastric issues such as bloating variable diarrhoea and constipation.6 months ago I felt a dragging sensation in the vagina and noticed that on orgasm I would get an intense grabbing pain which only lasted a short while. Two weeks ago the pain in my left hip and groin spread across the pubic area to the left side too and even up into my rib cage mostly left side ( it feels like a stitch )  I have a dry cough and feel even more tired and bloated. Dr could not feel lumps and gave my anti inflams but these have done nothing - I have gone private and seen the gynaecologist who did the novasure.  He has re ordered another CA125 and a pelvic MRI scan for next week. But when I looked at this website I have discovered loads of ladies like me who all get negative results, have a fluid build up and are made to feel its in their minds. I am an artist and full time secondary school teacher, happily married and have no reasons to make up an illness as I am extremely busy with my life. My regular GP even said he thought I had ME or chronic fatigue due to over exertion (I admit I am a workaholic) as all my tests over the last couple of years have been negative except  for a lack of vitamin D and B for which I have tablets and three monthly injections. I have taken HRT orally for two+ yrs to prevent those awful sweats. I also get pains in left arm and hand which often goes blue and feels icy cold  and pressure in the sternum, but I can't see how this could be related (no heart probs these were checked out two yrs ago and were fine when they thought I had had a cardiac arrest but discovered a fine pulse)
This is no longer a joke - I do not want to feel ill  I just want to feel good so I can enjoy life. Someone please help!

Thank You. I will look into it. I have had the ca125 blood test and MRI scan and now await the results when I see my consultant on the 6th November.

I have no answer, but I was concerned with the reply you rec'd.  I would suggest googling hyster sisters (systers?) prior to considering a hysterectomy.

I am surprised that your gyn didn't suggest a hysterectomy to alleviate your problems.  My hysterectomy was a blessing.  Not only did I have no more periods, but I sailed through menopause with very little problem (I was 38), but the horrible abdominal pain stopped and I felt better than ever.  Able to resume my life!

A hysterectomy is not the answer for everyone, but perhaps it would be for you...

Wishing you the best
