Neuralgia

I have Trigeminal Neuralgia, but I also have pain in other places on my body.  For example, right now I am experiencing neuralgia pain in myleft side of my back right below my shoulder blade and then in the front on the left side in my rib cage directly accross from where it hurts in my back.  What could this be?

No i have only suffered from it on the left side of my head. But now I am on medication for it, i've not had any pain at all. If the pain gets really bad you can take cocodamol along with the ibuprofen (i would in a chemist, that's why I know lol)
But the meds i'm is specifically for neuralgia as it's nerve pain, and these meds help with the signals by blocking certain ones to stop the pain!

I do take Ibuprofen.  Do you also suffer from pain other than in the head area like the ribs and back?

I also suffer from Neuralgia, but I've only even had the pain across the left side of my face, jaw, eyeline etc. Are you on medication for it? My doctor prescribed amitryptaline for me, and that has helped a lot. Have you tried Ibuprofen? That is good for the pain in the rib and back which you are describing.
