Hard mass in leg

Im 18 and have a hard, painless mass about 4mm under the skin in my thigh. I can move it a little with my fingers, but it returns to the same place after. Any ideas what it could be?

There is a great chance it is a fatty lipoma, which is nothing to worry about, and they are quite common, I do recommend that you have your Dr. examine just in case especially if it begins to bother you, I have had several of these and a couple removed, after biopsy results returned it was determined it was just fatty lipoma.  I have cancer in my family tree so it scared me, that is why I had the biopsy done, I dont think you have anything to worry about, but get it checked out just to be sure.       Good luck..
