Ongoing health issue not sure what to do

I have a few health concerns I'm trying to resolve.   I'm really not sure what is going on and have been searching for answers.  It started several months ago with a stiff neck and having a hard time swallowing.  It feel like my throat is swollen every time I swallow but no pain.  Over the last few months I noticed sores on my tounge.  Every night when I go to sleep they seem to go away.  They almost feel like can or sores.  In the morning there are usual white lines outlining where it was sore the day before.  By mid day the sores return in the same spot or other areas of my tounge.  Sometimes the sores are round other times just random shapes.  By the end of the day they are usually bright red and swollen.  My tounge also appears somewhat swollen in general.  Any idea what this could be? It feels like ground hogs day.  Theses symptoms come and go every day and it's been months.
