Pain in arm

Hi everybody, this is my first post. Im posting because I'm having this sharp pain in my arm around my elbow everytime I flex my arm with my palm facing up or down, but not when it is turned to the side. I started noticing the pain about 3/4 of the way through my football season which was around early October. I didn't say anything to the trainer because it really didn't hurt that bad and I wanted to keep playing. I thought it was one of those things that would just go away on its own but it hasn't and it is bugging the **** out of me lol. My mom's a RN and she said that it could be tennis elbow but I wanted to post something and see what anybody thinks. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

-Dustin

Your mom is probably right...sounds like tennis elbow.

Another thing?  It could be a pinched nerve.  Happens if you put a lot of pressure on your arm/elbow while you're sitting for long periods of time...like while on the computer.
