I am not a doctor but it sounds like you could be over stressed you can get pains in your temples jaw and ears and neck and eyes when your over wound up or worried about something. And panic attacks can cause tingling feelings in your fingers.When you feel it coming on just sit down and try to chill out and see if it eases off if it dose not then i would go see your doctor because they will know best take care.
Based on your medical history, it sounds like you have a two phase issue causing your problem. First, due to your facial reconstruction, I think it is safe to say that there was significant nerve damage done. Even though you have healed the nerve endings can be easily inflamed/activated if triggered by stress or other stimuli. With that said, it seems that the facial nerves are triggering the sternocleidomastoid muscles (Google for picture of this muscle set if unfamiliar with its location). There are two of these muscles in the superficial layers of the anterior (front) portion of the neck that make the shape of a “V”, and they are primarily helpful in rotation, flexing and extension of the head. They run from the center of the sternum (breastbone) and the clavicle (collarbone) up to the mastoid process, a bone in the skull located behind the ears. They also attach to the muscles in the corner of the jaw up to the temples. These muscles tend to "bunch up" and become sore/painful when left in a contracted state for a period of time, (yes, it can occur on just one side and even progress down the shoulder and into the arm sometimes all the way to the fingers). Press under the corner of your jaw (and under your ear) to feel if it is unusually tender. If so, use a massage vibrator from behind the ear, down under the jaw, up to the temple, then working your way down to where the clavicle meets the base of the neck next to the esophagus. If you don't have a massage vibrator, then use your thumb and fingers to massage and stretch the muscles as best you can. When these muscles are in spasm they can cause severe headaches, and/or dizziness. Ice packs will help in some cases, but massaging this set of muscles will give you relief and keep it from retuning quickly. If you have any muscle relaxers, it would help to take them. If you don't have any then try 600-800mg of Ibuprofen every 4 to 6 hours as needed (if you are not having any nausea take the ibuprofen with a little food to keep from irritating your stomach).
I think the heat component you mentioned is either the nerve signaling or the gorging of blood into the muscle group I detailed above. Both can cause a heat sensation to occur.
As far as the growth comment, males can continue to grow till age 25, though typically the lions share is done by 21.
