SLEEP PROBLEM, HELP

If anybody could help, that'd be great. I'm a 16 year old male, it's the middle of football season so I exercise daily, but when I try to sleep - from once a month to a week a month - I have trouble breathing.  I feel tingling all over my body, and I'm afraid to go back to sleep.  I feel my pulse and it freaks me out because it seems unsteady.  It'll be hard, then softer; normal paced, then speed up.  It happened at about 11 PM today and now it's 2:30 AM and I have yet to fall asleep.  I tried to relax, I laid down and watched TV and took a shower and tried to sleep again but nothing will work.  I feel light headed, I've been burping, and I had diarrhea at about 1:40.  Also the inside of my forearm is sore from a nap earlier in the day when I fell asleep on it.  I'm just freaking out and have no idea what's going on.  I'm sick of it happening because it's been going on for a few months now.  The pulse thing especially freaks me out because it makes me feel like I'm going to die.  I really am confused. Please help. Thanks.

I went to the doctor and he said something about it being me freaking out about a sinus infection, which I thought was a total load of ****.  I'm going to try to get it checked out more this week.  It's happening again tonight and after reading what you said I'm going to mention that, thanks, maybe it'll get them to take it more seriously.  Hope you get better and thanks again for your help.

Hello.
I am a 14 year old Girl. I had this happen to me about 3 months ago. Im not trying to freak you out but i had this happen to me about two weeks ago. I am on my rugby team at my school. But i just stayed up most of the night thinking if i go to bed i'll die. One night i ended up having a seizure & didnt remember ANYTHING. You should really talk to your parents. And ask them to bring you to a hospital or go into the walk in clinic's. I had to get all these test's done. My heart problem has to be watched now because i have a murmur that's turning into a tumor. :/ Hope everything goes well for you. Best of Luck ..
