Should I wait for my Drs appointment or go to the ER?

I have had pain in part of my left lung, shortness of breath and tightness around my lungs for a month or two now. I don't think its an emergency and have other health issues I need to get checked out related to bladder/ reproductive health. So I scheduled a check up. However other symptoms that come and go have been making my life miserable, for instance nausea, lightheadedness, hot and cold flashes, fatigue and my skin periodically feels like it's on fire. I'm exausted and worried but not sure that if I go to the Er I will get answers any faster. I need a second opinion, anythouths? I'm a 31 female other wise pretty healthy. Don't know what to do!

I would consider a middle step of urgent care. Then you can make sure there is no acute dangerous situation that makes waiting for your normal doctor dangerous. That's what I'd do. ER is a bit much but urgent care would be just right. If your symptoms increase at all, then ya, go to the ER.

Also, my doctor has acute care appointments. So, if someone is having an issue, they will put you into those appointment slots that day. Like if you have the flu or something. You are sick then, need to be seen then. Most every gp has those types of hours in their schedule for that day or the next.  You can try to get seen sooner that way too.
