Small red bumps on labia?

I noticed a few weeks ago a small red bump on my vagina, near the top. It doesn't burn or itch and so I decided to just let it be and hope it goes away. But now another small bump has appeared, this one on the opposite side and on the very outer edge of the vagina. I haven't been sexually active in five months and I also shave down there. I don't know if this is anything serious to worry about?

If it makes an difference the sex I had was protected, I've never gone without a condom. I'm hoping it's not an STD. But I will get it checked out, thankyou.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
The appearance of ‘red bumps on my vagina’ in presence of a history of unprotected sex (even if it was 5 months back) should be investigated for genital herpes, which is a STD. These lesions may or may not itch. The other STDs which should also be thought of are chancroid, syphilis, molluscum contagiosum, and venereal warts. If you shave down there, then it could also be a simple infection or allergy spot.
Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined as it is difficult to give a confirmed diagnosis without examination.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
