and help would be appreciated
I've been hurting my back under my rib cage on my left side its hurting so bad when i lay down the pain is extreme and it take my breathe it hurts so bad/ It feels like its in one of my main organs its hurting that bad it scaries me I would go to the doctor but i have no insurance and if u dont have insurance they treat u different. But the pain is mostly under my rib and toward or around my side to my back like kidney infection or something like that but just the one side is hurting.

Pain under left ribcage can be due to acidity, hiatal hernia, or reflux. The symptoms could be exacerbation of the GERD. Treatment is a combination of drugs to reduce the acid and lifestyle changes. You will need to take a combination of medications like omeprazole empty stomach in the morning and an antacid gel after meals for complete relief. Possibility of H pylori infection too should be looked into by a carbon urea breath test and a combination antibiotic tried.
Life style changes that will help include: Avoid heavy meals and eat frequent small meals. Avoid too much of caffeine, tea, smoking, fried food and drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic fuzzy ones. Avoid heavy exercises within 4 hours of a heavy meal. Raise the head end of the bed by pillows to 30 degrees. Avoid lying down for least 2 hours after food. Maybe these tips will help you.
The pain can also be due to costochondritis, since you have a history of injury. It usually goes away on its own. Otherwise it can be treated with muscle relaxants, and non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs. It can also be muscle pull. Shingles can also start this way.

it could be an infection in the kidneys or ibs,just go see the docs if they treat you bad ignore them at least your pain will go once they give you what you needs to ease the pain.
