i am 19 yrs old i was recently diagnosed with anxiety, i used to have panic attacks and hyperventilate 4-5 timas a day, but that has settled down dramatically, im on med and seeing a sphcologist, lately i have been getting stabbing headaches all over my head, an achy left upper arm, tingly feeling in the left side of my face, dizziness, i feel like im spaced out like i have a part of my brain missing, and on some spots of my head i feel tender, i have told my doctor but she keeps palming it off as my anxiety, me personally do not think its my anxiety, i have a great support network around me helping me through this and i can controll it by breathing, PLEASE HELP ME, IM VERY CONFUSED AND WANT TO KNOW WTF IS WRONG WITH ME!!!!!!!!!

I feel bad that you are such a young person and dealing with these things...could you be taking your meds incorrectly?  it almost sounds like drug reaction in some ways.  When I would take certain meds like pertussis or tussionex I would get completely spaced out and feeling like bugs were crawling on me and buzzing sensation in my head.  It was horrible.  If you have a doctor who is shrugging off your symptoms then tell him or her that you will find another doctor who WILL take you seriously.  Just because you are a kid does not mean you should not be taken seriously.  Do you have someone in your life to whom you can talk to?  Even a pastor or a medical help line at this point.  If that fails, get yourself to the ER the next time you get these feelings.  You need to get some attention.

Hi,

Deep breathing or hyperventilation can be associated with the symptoms you mention.

'Hyperventilation can, but does not necessarily always cause symptoms such as numbness or tingling in the hands, feet and lips, lightheadedness, dizziness, headache, chest pain, slurred speech and sometimes fainting, particularly when accompanied by the Valsalva maneuver. '
