Ask the doctor, for sure. Sometimes skin nerves get damaged when the doctor cuts the skin for a surgery (this happened to me after an appendectomy) and it can take a surprisingly long time, like a year, for the area to stop being numb. It's possible that your c-section or the shot did that to some of your nerves, not from the medication but just from the physical cutting of a skin nerve. They do heal, but they take a while. Nothing wrong with asking your doc, however. Also, ask him what the shots were.
