For starters, I have not had sex for many, many months.
However, I had some medical tests done in a 3rd-world country about 4 weeks ago - which included needles and bloodwork. I was told that all needles were 1-use-only and disposable.
About 2 weeks ago, I came down with the most devastating sickness that i have ever had in my life. I was fine until the evening, at which time, I developed an extremely high fever, difficulty walking / thinking straight, violent diarrhea, headache, nausea. This took about 5 days of bed rest and anti-biotics to clear.
During this time, I developed a persistant case of oral thrush and night sweats.
I am taking fluconizole for the thrush and wake up with heavy night sweats frequently.
I am starting to question whether or not the cleanliness of these facilities should be a concern or not.
Due to my work, I have to test for HIV regularly. I tested negative 3 months ago.
What do you think? Should I be concerned? What course of action would you suggest?
