Worried about progressive headache, Possible brain abscess?Any input appreciated

About four days ago i had a small minor isolated headache that began, i thought nothing of it even though i normally dont get headaches. I don't have a history of Sinus problems, or anything like that.I do however need a root canal. Well, anyways, it has been four days now, and the headache has continued to grow, it has spread from the left side of my head and into the right. the weird thing is that it hurts more in the new location than it did where it started. I occasiaonaly have throbbing pains in my ears such as an earache, but much shorter lasting, sometimes accompanied by pressure.Today it Felt like i had a throbbing pain in the top of my eye for about 45 seconds. Painkillers such as aspirin and ibuprofen don't seem to be helping. My doctor is skeptical about things being serious, so i am hesitant to talk to him about it until more severe problems develop , i was wondering if any of you have had the same problems, or if you think this could be something serious, maybe an Abscess, or aneurysm? Any input would be appreciated so much.

I know this sounds weird, but cashew oil will help with an abscessed tooth.  You can just eat cashews (if you're able) until you see your dentist or get some antibiotics.  Best wishes.

You might not think a tooth problem is serious, but it so can be! A friend of mine (20 yrs ago) was hospitalized for several weeks, and has been severely physically handicapped since. They finally figured out it was all from a tooth cavity that he had ignored, got infected and spread. If your doctor doesn't listen then try another doctor or your dentist. Hope you feel better soon!

if you need a root canal, that would explain the pain.Sometimes pain from a tooth can show up as a headache or in another area bceause the tooth infection is near a nerve and it sends the pain to different areas so the pai "travels". See your dentist.
