a little worried...

A while back I posted about several symptoms that I was having like palpitations, especially when lying down, rapid weight gain, fatigue, and some swelling in my feet and hands. Now I have noticed swelling in my temples made worse by chewing anything hard (bagels, jerky, steak, etc). It gets better and worse through the day but gets so bad to where I have to remove my glasses because I swell around them and they leave an indention in the sides of my head. Very weird and uncomfortable. I am a 29 year old female and I have never really had any health problems except for a mild heart murmur. I have an appt in a month but I've been kinda worried. Any ideas???

I was thinking the same thing but at a hospital visit a month ago for this issue they tested my blood and said everything looked ok, and my bp was on the high side for me, i guess but still what they considered normal. I was ordered to wear a Holter monitor and am still waiting on the results. It's just difficult to wait, ya know?

I would guess that this is your thyroid acting up. My mom has the same problems but she is 15 years older than you are. Go see your doctor, you might have high blood pressure due to stress, or a thyroid problem.
