According to the Laxapro website that gives instructions on the drug, I have copied and pasted the relevant information that relates to your symptoms:]

Call your doctor at once if you have:

very stiff (rigid) muscles, high fever, sweating, fast or uneven heartbeats, tremors, feeling like you might pass out;

nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, feeling unsteady, loss of coordination;

racing thoughts, unusual risk-taking behavior, feelings of extreme happiness or sadness; or

headache, trouble concentrating, memory problems, weakness, confusion, hallucinations, fainting, seizure, shallow breathing or breathing that stops

It appears that you are having an adverse effect from this medication and may have an allergic reaction to some of the ingredients.  I would suggest therefore that before you take any more of these pills, you have a word with your doctor if he prescribed them to you.  These pills are also not suitable if you have other problems and take other medications.  If these were not prescribed by a medical professional, you should not be buying these and self medicating.  These are dangerous drugs and the patient needs to be monitored by a doctor.

You should have had an instruction leaflet that came with the packet of the Lexapro that would explain all the side effects and what medications and medical conditions that are not suitable for taking the Laxapro.  There are other types of antidepressants that may suit you better.

Some antidepressants are better taken at night time, but I would suggest you do not take any more before you talk to your doctor about your reaction to these pills.

Get in touch with your doctor who prescribed these to you as soon as possible.

Best wishes

Yes I hate Lexapro. The headache will pass in a week and some of these side effects. But after that I was jogging and loss all the strength in my legs. I was taking it with Neurontin and klonopin so I don't know if the combo caused it or the Lexapro but once I went off of it I felt so much better. I would call your doctor about the side effects but the headache is normal and will go away in a week. The rest I don't know and the nervousness isn't good. I think another drug would be better. If it is for depression you might try amitriptilyne. But that makes you sleepy. It all depends on what you can tolerate.
take care,
