blind in one eye?!?

Hi all, i really need advice...a few  months back i experienced double vision which the doctor simply diagnosed as an inner ear infection and sent me packing...a few weeks later i went completely blind in my right eye!! I saw an opthermologist who said i had severe swelling on my optic nerve and said he would refer me for an mri, however that referal was never made! Gradually my sight came back and i now have roughly 60% vision back..iv also been having severe headaches, nausea, numbness in my arms, tremours in my arms, vibrations in my legs and lower back and im constantly tired...iv since seen several doctors and finally recieved an appt for an mri...but i feel let down that this has taken so long! Im only 24 and normally fit and healthy but for the past 6 months or so iv just felt 'ill' the doc has mentioned several possibilities for my symptoms including ms and brain tumour!! Yetits taken so long to run tests?! Does anyone have any ideas what might b wrong??

Hi Kait, I'm 25 and have been dealing with chronic migraines all my life. Have you ever experienced a full migraine before? Some of the symptoms you have stated above happen to me when I am having a migraine..such as eye sight, tiredness, nausea and the occasional arm and leg pains. You should ask your doctor about an EEG scan. It only takes about an hour and you can have the results back in a couple days if not sooner! Take care and please let us know how things are going :)

II'm not an Expert by any means but its sounds like the severe headaches, nausea numbness in arms, tremors, and vibrations you feel could all be as a result of anxiety, i have anxiety problems and a have alot of those same symptoms but i could be wrong, but then again alot of the time were so paranoid about something being wrong with us that things actually end up being wrong with us our minds are powerful and have that much affect on our bodies whether you realize it or not but i hope this helped asked for the eye problem i have no idea but continue to press the issue until you get adequate results .
