I had two c-sections, my last one 16 years ago, so I don't know for sure but you may have a small rip in your rectum area that could've been overlooked after having the baby. You may have an infection of some sort which may require a stitch or two.... or as you said, it could possibly be a hemmoroid. I've had my share of those. They hurt like crazy. Cream isn't good enough for internal hemmoroids....and sometimes even external. Get Preparation H or something similar and insert it into your rectum, as directed, so the swelling can go down.  God bless...

Yes, they will go away. They are very common especially after having a baby. Just make sure you don't get constipated very often and try to eat enough fiber and drink plenty of water or else they could reoccur. You'll be fine. :-)

You can try witch hazel.Put in on a gauze pad or cotton balls and hold it against your hurting area after each bathroom time. Also if there is an infection try combining hydrocortizone cream with an antibiotic cream and smear in on the area at bedtime. Where cotton panties with a panty liner to absorb the greasiness of the ointments or creams (use either kind) You might want your husband? boyfriend? to look at the spot to see if there is an outside hemmoroid or cuts or redness, infection.  Add more fiber and water to your diet but acidic foods might irritate that area. i.e. tomato, oranges, gratefruit and their juices. Don't let it go to long-see a doctor if you're not feeling better or there are signs of infection. Congradulations on the new baby...

You can also get yeast in that area. I do. Try an antifungal cream for a few days, either Monistat, or an athelete's foot cream. If you still have no improvement, see your Dr.
