Weird sensations and lightheadedness...desperate for answer.

I am an 18 year old male and I have dyspepsia (uncomfortable movements in the stomach) and I take 40 mg Protonix a day for the stomach. Lately I have been having small chest pains that come and go for a most 2 minutes. Yesterday I started having theses weird floating (not quite fluttering) sensations in my throat and chest. At the same time my vision goes dim and I feel lightheaded like I am about to faint. The lightheadedness only lasts for 2 seconds. It is very worrying. The weird thing is a few hours before the sensations and faintness started I was lifting heavy computer towers and monitors. I don't know if this could be connected or not. Can a hiatal hernia manifest with such symptoms?

The weird feelings and small pains are mostly gone in my chest today. I still have the lightheadedness. It comes and goes every few seconds so basically I have it all the time. I have a doctor's appointment on the 9th, but if this gets any worse I am going to the emergency room!

Hello,

Causes of chest pain are many. It can be due to hypertension,Gastroesophageal reflux disease(do you have heart burn and difficulty in  swallowing) and hiatal hernia, disorders involving the lung like Pneumonia, pulmonary embolism, pneumothorax etc;cardiac diseases, lung cancer, thoracic outlet syndrome, pancreatitis, gall bladder disease(fullness and pain in the right side of abdomen and chest after eating a greasy or fatty meal) and muscle pain[costochondritis(an inflammation of the joints in your chest)].

Try taking some anti inflammatory pain relievers and antacids.Heat compresses may also help. If the pain is still there, pls consult your physician to find out the confirmatory diagnosis.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries.
