Need Help

Ok my friend is very sick. She has a very weak immune system and she's got some kind of a bite or something on her back. She is experiencing dizziness, slight fever, back swelling, cheek swelling, arm swelling, slight headaches and a very bad stomach ache. Plus because she's in so much pain she doesn't eat very much. She's already been to two different hospitals and all they've done is give her some medication and send her on her way. But the medicine just seems to make everyhing worse not better at all. Any advice on what it could be and how to treat it?

Thank you so much for responding. When she went to the hospital they said it was a spider bite but we can still never be sure. She is doing a lot better but I'm still worried for her. We live in a shelter but when she was at home with her parents her situation and problems caused her to have a weak immune system cuz she was always taking care of everyone else in her household. She even stated herself that it was partly her fault for not taking the time to take care of herself when she was sick. She still gets dizzy and still has stomach aches and everything is still swollen but she is up and doing mormal things now. I'm just wondering if she should be doing these things yet or if she should just stay in bed a little longer.

Thank you again for responding. It really helps a lot.

Hi

I can see you are concerned about your friend. You mentioned a bite or something on her back. What is it? Did some one or an animal bite her or was there an injury? This could have got infected and the infection spread to near by areas. Your friend seems to have a weak immune system—has it been diagnosed or is it something you feel based on her condition.

Can you please provide some more details. Based on the available information I think it’s a case of severe infection. It is difficult to comment beyond this without examining or detailed history of symptoms. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted.
