Apologies just reread your post and if you meant skin has blue patches ignore the comments I made. Thats what clonazepan does to your brain it scrambles it . My brain need s rewiring so soz. Chris
I only know of one condition which causes blue scelera (patches on eyes) Just a though dont want to scare you but I wouldnt go using any products until you do get a dx. My aunt has a condition called osteogenesis imperfecta and this is one of the symptoms. She was only dx as a result of genetic testing as its an inherited condition . Don't take this as being what you have only drs can tell you that but it may be worth mentioning to your Dr . Take Care Chris
The contraceptive pill can cause this. Other medications can too.
It could be a number of things. I wonder why the derm' didn't explain more to you. It's hard to understand exactly, but try looking up "Melasma" which is not anything serious, just annoying as #$%! If you find out it IS Melasma, then stay away from anything like dermabrasion which could make it worse. (Don't ask me why, but adhesives from things like band-aids also can make it worse.) RX skin bleaches are usually pretty good at fading the melasma, but they have some nasty ingredients, and aren't so helpful if you have sensitive skin, so be careful with them. Have you noticed if it gets "darker" after being in the sun? The break outs sound related if it all happened at once, which again could point to a number of things. I'd suggest reviewing your diet and see if you have added anything lately that could be causing the reactions. Also I'd see another dermatologist, just to be safe. Just like with every other kind of doctor, you have to find the good ones that will actually help, but they're out there.
Oh, one more thought, look at anything different you are doing like a new shampoo, new pillow, new detergent, new make-up, anything that can explain a possible reaction. Take care!
