Fever after Colonoscopy

I just had a colonoscopy done today and I have a fever 100.5 and chills however,  I have no pain. Should I be concerned?

Some fever is expected after colonoscopy. Take acetaminophen and see if it helps. If fever persists, consult a doctor or the specialist you have been seeing. Take care!

I would be calling the hospital and tell them. You may have gotten an infection or something. It needs to be looked into.
