i am eagerly waiting for ur reply.
thank u so much for ur reply ,but actually i am confused as u have listed the names of so many deseases .I would like to further rule out some of the deseases like HIV and STD as i never had sexual intercourse nor do i i ever had any blood transfusion and all injections(syringes) tht i hd taken were new .also i hd been thru urine tests so (as mentioned above) so UTI is also negated .i also sufffered from jaundice few years bck ,i also mentioned abt a constant pinching pain in the area i had pluresy,i cant do much physical exercise as i get tired very easily.can this be due to any allergy,i also took multivitamins for some time before this problem but cant remember exactly wen i stopped taking it,i really wonder tht this fever neither worsens nor its fades away ,can it continue lifelong ??.Also can i meet any of doctors or yourself personally(or telephone) to get proper treatment. Can u suggest any good doctors either in Hyderabad or Patna.
thank u again for ur reply and please help

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Yes, it appears that tuberculosis is ruled out. Other causes could be SLE, rheumatoid arthritis, Polyarteritis nodosa (PAN) and other auto immune disorders, UTI, drug fever, sinusitis, glandular fever, otitis media, IBS, HIV, STDs, endocarditis, parasitic infestations (quite possible as you have a high eosinophil, hence get a stool test done), fungal infections, lymphomas and other cancers etc. Low grade fever is also seen in anemia, diabetes, hypothyroid states, overwork, stress and fatigue. Dehydration is another cause.
It could also be Post viral fatigue syndrome, which happens after a prolonged illness. There are no magic pills for it. This can be treated patiently with exercise, good diet, work out plans and multivitamins. A diet rich in fruits, vegetables and proteins should be taken along with a multi vitamin supplement. Eat 5-7 small regular meals every day. Drink plenty of water. Do deep breathing exercises. Join a good trainer and start an exercise program that will help you build up stamina. Try doing an activity a day that interests you. Try to remain calm.
If nothing helps, all tests for TB should be repeated.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
