Leg Pains with high fever for 4 hrs. frequently, no diagnosis

Hello,
My Brother Mr. Sanjay Gokhle, resident of mumbai, India,  usually suffers from tremendous pains, with  emerging  small red dots on any of the leg, simultaneously he is attacked by high fever, after 4-5 hrs. temp. comes to normal and he feels well enough to do his regular activities e.g. dinner etc. with normal apitite. This happens after approximately fortnight, cannot be catagoriesd in terms of time. But it often happens to him thats for sure. We had visited most of the top rated doctors. According to them : "They cannot understand the cause". inspite of taking all the pathalogical reports including C.T. Scan.

If asked all the reports will be provided.

Homeopathy Dr. Says its just a viral fever.

It has been happening since, 4-5 years from then we had made all the possible efforts to know the cause of his health, But invain. Pl. Guide us.

Please mail me at ***@****, ***@****, ***@****  on any of the email.

Thanks and regards

It's difficult to say without examination.

That said, fever along with rash can be indicative of an infection.  So, obtaining blood cultures, as well as a thorough evaluation by his doctor should be done to look for possible causes.  I agree with the CT scan that has been done.

If negative, you can also consider rheumatologic disease, which can be first evaluated by a blood ANA level.  A referral to a dermatologist can be obtained as well, where a skin biopsy can be done to give a more definitive cause for the rash.

These options can be discussed with his personal physician.

I have no idea. It is very uncommon and to not have a diagnosis in all those years is alarming I am sure.
I see you have requested his records maybe you could send them to one of the universities and explain the situation and they may be able to research it and find some answers. let me know if you would like the address to the University of Florida. UF is local here where I live and they do alot of research like this.
