Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
If you are a virgin then sharp pains in the region of cervix could be due to ovarian cyst. If you have started your periods, and use tampons, then you may have forgotten one inside. It can also be due to fungal infection. Please ask your mother to take you to a gynecologist.
Hope this helps. Take care!

I agree, you really need to get to a doctor to get this diagnosed.  The discharge is most likely a yeast infection like MZLAUREL said, but before you self-medicate with OTC medications you need to make sure.
The pains could be when you ovulate if they occur roughly in the middle of your cycle.  Some people get a stabbing, throbbing sort of pain (I did for years) at the time the ovary releases the egg.  The pain will switch sides depending on which ovary it is.
You need to see the doc tho, as it could also be cysts.  A lot of the time the cysts will dissolve from cycle to cycle but sometimes they don't.  So get checked out!  If you are uncomfortable, see if you can see a woman doctor.
Good luck!

PS,
I am not sure about the pain, sharp pains are not always something bad. Thumping pain is a little different.
How tall are you?
How much do you weigh?

Hi There
Did you bring this issue to your Mom? I know it is kind of embarrassing to talk to your parents about these issues.
Did you recently take an antibiotic??? Like for a Strep Throat?
Your vagina has a balance of "FLORA" (think flower) and "FAWNA" (think animal like a deer fawn). Basically yeast and beneficial bacteria.
When a female takes an antibiotic, it kills off ALL the bacteria... even the bacteria we need to digest our food.
When that happens in the vagina, the "FLORA" grow too much. You end up with a "yeast infection".
I am not saying that this is what you have.
The symptoms are: alot of itching in the area, a "cottage cheese" kind of discharge, that I have experienced being anywhere from white, to yellow tinged. If this is the first incidence, I would go to the Doctor or Nurse, to make sure that is what it is. There are Over the Counter applications for this.
I think the smell of the discharge is significant. A bacterial infection, such as an STD (sexually transmitted disease), or overgrowth of the natural "FAWNA" tends to have a "bad meat" kind of smell.... Or like sulfer (Bad eggs) That is from the "PUSS". Basically puss (perulent matter) is white blood cells, that have accumulated from your body fighting infection.
If you are truley a virgin, and there is no chance of STD (I am not doubting you), you most likely have the yeast infection.
A YEAST INFECTION IS NOT AN STD. It can occur if you have taken an antibiotic, or even if you have been under heavy stress.
If you are uncomfortable w/ your Mom, maybe a friend's Mom, or the school Nurse is well versed in helping you get help.
Doctors and Nurses have seen this stuff a million times. So, although you may be self conscious, they will not think bad stuff about you. They just want to help you feel your best.
