Headaches for over 4 months

Hiya all!

I've been experiencing a headache every day for the past 4 months. It has gradually been getting worse as the weeks go on.

My doctor prescribed me medication for chronic tensions which didn't help at all. Then she sent me for an MRI without contrast that came back negative.

The headaches have always been worse first thing in the morning when I wake up. I have to sometimes get out of bed the second I wake because its that bad. I have woken up at about 4am countless times with bad nausea, having to induce vomiting before I feel better and everyday I deal with nausea on a low scale.

Over the counter pain medication has no affect either.

I am getting so sick of it and my next appointment with my doctor isn't for a while.

Has anyone experienced the same thing? If so what was wrong and how did you fix it?

maybe you need a second opinion.
have you considered seeing an optomitrist? Maybe there is pressure behind your eyes for some reason.
We grow up thinking Drs. have all the answers, but they don't. No one knows everything. another Dr may have already dealt with these symptons and know how to treat you.I suffered with menstrual problems for years, then went to another Dr. who knew what was going on and cured the problems in 2 months! Had I went to her earlier I would have had relief that much sooner.

I have seen and optometrist and everything came back clear. That was actually the first thing I checked because I hadn't had my eyes checked.

The doctor I booked my next appointment with is a different doctor so hopefully things might change.

Thank you for your post :)
