Eye floaters and flashes

I've never had eye problems or needed glasses. About  6 months ago i started to notice floaters and there getting worse over time. I lost a lot of blood after i had my baby last may and my medical doctor says these eye floaters could be due to low blood count.  About a week ago i noticed light flashes of the eye When i look in the sky i see a lot of floaters and light flashes that look like stars. Could these light flashes be a on going migraine? What is this? IM SCARED!! AM I GOING BLIND???

You need to go to the hospital straight away if you get flashes.
Flashes can be a sign of a detached retina.
Good luck

I have those and in my case are said to be due to visual migraines.
I haven't looked into the info but apparently the dots and stuff you see are just debris.  I thought mine may have been worse when I was iron deficient.
I have heard that the retinal detachment is more like a curtain moving across your vision.

Floaters are not anything to worry about. If you are child bearing age you are a little young to be having them but don't worry. Light flashes are in the same order. But you should see an eye specialist to be sure. Good luck.
