for years now ive been attributeing the pain in my neck ear and throat to tmj thinking it was just the nerves being pinched but recently had the realization that this was comeing primarily from my right tonsil and sometimes my left but not to the degree of pain that it does in my right side, i have chronic tonsil stones and an occasional swollen lymph gland in my neck, im male 25 and have high cholesterol unmeasureable due to my triglycerides being 688 but thats probly not going to explain anything about this heh. setting up an appointment with the ENT specialst and probly going to have the damn things taken out soon and hope it brings some relief but has anyone else had this experience, as far as the pain goes it takes me 6'2" 180 pounds about 20-25mg of hydrocodone with no prebuilt tolerance to actually take the pain away, 15mg will take the edge off but its still pretty bad and i have a decently high pain threshold, i hit a telephone pole at 55mph in an 87 prelude in 2003 and mearly shook it off but later found i had a very mild disk herniation causeing slight pressure on the c6 nerve root on the left side but this had been going on for almost 7 years and that was only 4 years ago so probly not related, any ideas. never had tonsilitis just stones and alot of them, maby 20 in each tonsil at the moment. huge holes i could stick the entire end of a cutip into and my right one is slightly swollen on the bottom while my left looks like half of it was eroded away on the bottom. once i had a stone so large it was about the size of a lima bean and i had to use tweezers to pull the thing out, thats also the tme i had the swollen lymph node but it was on the left and not the right where it feels like an acidic nail is being forced through my neck. just curious.
