Dear doctor:
I'm a patient from China.28, one baby's mother. From Jan of 2010, something very strange happened to me. My tongue suddenly turned to white, the local dotctor found fungi by microscopic examination. Finally I was diagnosised albicans Saccharomyces infected. I'v had 2 HIV tests and got good report. The last one is 3years later. I'm tired every day, even at night on the bed.I went to many hospitals to see the doctors, but no one knows what it is.
At the same time, the symptoms was found on my 1 year old son, plus 5-6 lymphs above his neck swelling. There is a blood report of him showed that the HGB is 88.
Now many of the same patients went to Beijing to reflect the problems. But several years past, we didn't have any respons. No one treat us seriously.
I believe it's different on this website. Please let us know what it is if you have any information about it.

I'm sorry for my poor English.I hope what about me is clear.
Thanks!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
If your son has no other problem and only enlarged lymphnodes in neck, then this could be due to some skin problem, dandruff in hair or even without a cause. However if your one year old is symptomatic, then you need to get this investigated. In your case you should also get tested for systemic fungal infection such as Candidiasis, Aspergillosis, Histoplasmosis, Blastomycosis, and Coccidioidomycosis. However these are seen in immunocompromised patients such as those on chemotherapy, dialysis, renal dysfunction, HIV, or other STDs. Rarely this is seen in healthy individuals. However you do say you are HIV negative or is it that HIV is under control (not sure what you mean by reports are good)?
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
