Tenderness

Very tender area of the right upper quadrant and slightly to the side. Also had what looks like a bruise to show up in this area as well. The "bruise is starting to fade, but the tenderness is the same.. maybe even a little worse. I have not injured this area in any way.. Any ideals as to what may be causing this?

No to everything except the breathing problems. I do have some slight shortness of breath without exertion, more so with. This area is where my upper right lung is. I have a history of severe asthma with no recent episodes. Have been told that i have scaring on my lungs as well. Open heart surgery nearly two years ago. Several days after the surgery i had to have a large patch of fluid/blood removed from one of my lungs. I'm just curious as to what may be causing these s/s.. Thanks
