Hi. Sorry, just seeing your response now. Thanks for putting all that together concerning possible nerve/muscle problems in the legs affecting the dysautoonomia - I was tested years ago with EMG.NCS and was negative, but I do believe that many of the symptoms/problems we have are interconnected. Thanks for your response.
Thank you so much for your response. Just reading your response now after all this time - I need to learn how to use the forum! I was tested for MS years ago, but the tests were negative; therefore looking more toward a diagnosis of dysautonomia after all these years, and actually have an appt scheduled for this. Thanks for the good suggestions on detox; I have never formally done that, but know it is a good idea. Take care.
Thanks for your reply. It is actually June 12th and I am just reading your response - first time I had used the forum, and guess I need to check back after posting a question huh? I am so sorry to hear that you had a spinal tumor - how are you doing now? My thoughts and good wishes go out to you.
Nerve conduction studies are good but are not definitive. My tests showed that my leg pain was "not unreasonable " as everything was in the normal range.
I argued something was wrong which meant doctors needed to look beyond nerve studies
And I was right.
If your leg pain is greater at night and when you don't move then I suggest a MRI of your spine
Hopefully you have had nerve studies and an EMG to make sure that the weakness and paresthesias (tingling) are not due to spinal stenosis or a nerve disease (peripheral neuropathy, MS, etc.). Anything impacting the nerves in the legs might make it more difficult for your autonomic nervous system to react to keep your BP up when you stand up, so there can be a relationship.
Hello. I am sorry that you have such problems...
These sound very much like symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis or Lyme disease. Fifth disease, Human Parvo also has symptoms similar to these.
The thing is that Aspartame poisoning (diet sodas and chewing gum) can cause symptoms of M.S. also.
Before resorting to surgery or expensive treatment, you might try to detox your body. Parsley and Cilantro teas or smoothies help to detox. And please stay away from sodas during your cleanse.
I would like to know how you are doing.
Wishing you the best
Leg pain and weakness can indicate a lumbar spine problem. I had such pain and weakness recently. Did not accept my pcp's advice that it is " muscular", insisted on a MRI and lo and behold a spine tumor.
See a neurosurgeon. Explain your issues, hear what he says. Push for a MRI
