There is a new stomach bug affecting people in several states - caused by not washing fruits and vegetables before eating them.
Get to a doctor if you think you have this new virus!

You may have a stomach bug, or like the previous poster suggested you may be pregnant.

If pregnancy is out of the question, then it is more than likely that you have eaten something that was contaminated that has caused you to vomit.

Vomiting and diarrhea are the body's way to get rid of contaminants and poisons.

Do not eat anything for a couple of days, just drink juices, liquid soups and water.  Keep off all dairy produce and that includes milk, as it will make you much worse.

You are feeling lightheaded because you are either getting up too quickly and also that you are dehydrated.

It is important to make sure that you drink so that you do not become dehydrated.  If your symptoms do not settle after a couple of days, then seek medical attention, to rule out any parasitic infestations.

If it is likely that you are pregnant, eat only small amounts.  A plain biscuit or a dry piece of toast.  Make sure that you drink what I suggested above so you do not become dehydrated and take things easy.  Vomiting in pregnancy does settle down, but if it is severe you will need to see your doctor.

Best wishes.
