That’s the spirit! I admire you for your courage and determination. That’s the first step to recovery. I am sure you must have joined some support group. Please do try the deep breathing exercises, yoga and meditation. Your seven year old (son or daughter?) is your life and reason to live a beautiful life. I know it is difficult but not impossible. I have lost most of my skills due to my incident so my speeliing and grammar please excuse.the incident at my work placewhere i was trapped inside while he was trying to break in swichted of the power to the facility i had residents sreaming he was playing loud music outside the residential unit the whole house was in complete darkness everyone screaming he was banging and smashing to get in i crawled on my knees to find a torch picked up the phone it was dead it was cordles ithen walked down the hallway i could not hear or see only sreaming and banging i went to the vertical blinds there he was looking into my eyes said when i get in i will kill .you.no more THIS MAN IS KNOW IN PRISON HE HAS A HISTORY OF ARSON AND VIOLENCE AND IS PYSC MY LIFE WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN BUT I AM DETERMINED TO TAKE BACK CONTROL OF MY LIFE AND KEEP ON FIGHTING.

Severe stress causes hormone imbalance and a mild anaphylatical reaction. You are right about it mostly causing breathing problems or heart pounding etc. However rashes and hives also occur. You can get an allergy panel done for common allergens like pollen, dust, peanut butter, egg etc and see if the rash is due to allergy to something.
Please try yoga and meditation and deep breathing exercises. These really help!
