sinus or something else

41 yo female,,3 weeks ago started to feel like just had a glass of wine or on a boat.VERY tired, too. Pressure in rt cheek/forhead/jaw...like someoome is pulling in there. Pain in rt ear ( stabbing, not constant).
ENT said fluid present, pressure present.Started on Prednisone 40 mg x 5 days. ( on day 4 now)
Pressure is better, still there, ear pain better, but dizzy continues on and off daily. Just happens at times throughout the day, like I'll just start to feel like I am on a boat, then it goes away. Temp ranges from 99.3-99.8.
Had blood work done, all normal. Otherwise healthy, no weakness, no vision, speech issues, no balance issues.Trying to continue to exercise, but sometimes, still tired.Nothing else affected, just starting to really worry now...

Questions:

CT of sinus tomorrow, will that tell if there is an infection?
WIll it tell if there is a brain tumor? Does it sound like a brain tumor?

The MD also gave me an antibiotic ( factive), but the pharmacist said  to wait to take it when I am finished the steroid.
Does that sound correct?

Thanks,
J

Hi.. I just wanted to ask for an opinon regarding sinus and  sense of smell. I had operation in my sinus after seeking a 2nd opinion about my lost of smell ( may about 40% was lost ). The 1st ENT dr I went to said that its a nerve attack that caused my lost of smell. 2nd dr said that my sinus was blocked ( sorry I 4got what it was that's caused obstruction) so b4 he could conclude that it's really a nerve attack, he has to clear my sinus passage 1st and if it didnt work, then the 1st diagnosis was correct. My smell didnt come back completely, there are times that it's quite perfect, but most of the time some smells seem incomplete like brewed coffee smells perfect tome, but cooking gas that leaks I cant really detect; even smell of vicks vaporub seems incomplete ). Do you think that operation was a must and is there something I have or can do to help myself regain some my lost sense of smell ?
Thanks.
