pain after laproscopy

Had laproscopic procedure to remove ovarian cyst.  48 hours later, still experiencing severe neck/shoulder pain (told it was due to gas remaining in body, and would disipate in a day or two).  It is now three days after the procedure and I still feel frequent severe pain in neck and shoulders.  OBGYN thought it might be muscle cramps from the way they had me positioned on the table and recommended I take a muscle relaxant...no effect.  Pain is not constant, but rather periodic and doesn't flare due to any specific kind of movement.  Very prominent when I take a deep breath, however.
Furthermore, also experiencing frequent urination (every 20 minutes +/-).  Clear, no pain or burning.  1/2 cup to 1 cup each time, but am not drinking anywhere near that much liquid!!!

The shoulder pain sometimes occurs after laparoscopy. If it is persistant, you need to get it evaluated.

Regarding the urinary symptoms, pleas get a urine culture to see if you have a bladder infection, which is easily treatable.
