Binge Recovery Plan?

Binges happen. They can be caused by anything & they happen to everyone. Do you guys have a set recovery plan in case or do you guys wing it afterwards?

Shape magazine has a cute little article on this:
http://www.shape.com/weight_loss/diets/eating_to_lose/dietary_changes/morning_after_diet

Some of it sounds like common sense, but I really think the hide the scale one would be hardest & potentially the best suggestion.

I don't have a plan yet, but I am thinking I should set one up for myself since I do better with set guidelines.

I drink lots of water and also tea, like a good green tea or there are even herbal detox teas out there as well.  I also try to do a long cardio workout the next day.

I think too it's important to keep in mind that every meal or day is a chance to start over.  Sometimes a binge can feel so defeating it is easy to let it slide into a multi-day bender.  (Well, for me...)

I agree with the above to avoid the processed foods high in salt/sugar.  Those seem to be the foods on which it is easy to binge.  I try to limit or avoid them, especially in my house!

I'm going to read this tomorrow. Thanks!

I do have somewhat of a plan,

1. Don't binge in the first place.
2. If I do skip the next weight so I don't beat myself up with food and make it worse.
3. Journal and come clean to help hold myself accountable.
4. try to stay away from processed foods and sweets.
5. Push the water.
