That is sooo right- I love doing measurements monthly as you notice a bigger difference that way.
I was awake for 21 hours yesterday so exceeded my calories, drank too much fluid, didnt get any rest, snacked on bad stuff....and the result was 1lb weight gain - Im hoping that and more will be gone tomorrow!
Yes I so dread getting on there lots of days .sometimes I get on there and I'm thinking I must have lost but it showed I gained well I've been getting health alerts from discovery health and they say to remember muscle weighs more than fat when you work out and gain muscle you get on the scale it shows you gain it said don't trust the scale. Every once in awhile measure your self to see how your weight loss is going.
Yeah, last week I wasn't sure I had lost & was afraid I had gained. This week not so much.
Trudie - I hope that you lose the weight after the flare is done! I can't imagine what it's like to ride that rollercoaster. Power to you for working so hard!
Hoping so. This is the first time I have noticed this trend so will be learning as I go.
When your flare up goes down will the weight come off quickly? If you are trying hard your body will respond once it feels calm again right? x
Yes! I'm in a lupus flare and am so swollen. I've put on 4 lbs. with this flare even though I've been trying so hard. Arghh!!!
