I have always been riddled with fibroadenomas; so when I was pregnant in 2013 and had another lump pop up I was just like.....meh...no big deal another ultra sound, another biopsy, I'll be right. The lump was tender and visable but I was used to this. It only became a big problem for me when I had my baby and wanted to breast feed her. I lasted 9 weeks and then I was advised by my GP to stop. I was so sick all the time and it was starting to get me down a bit. My endocrine specialist had me on antibiotics for six months and had my lump aspirated. The lump has reduced in size a lot now and I usually only get pain in it after I ovulate. My specialist had recommended I extract the lump before I get pregnant again, due to fears I will have re-occurring problems and be unable to breast feed again. I have read publications that have reported success on freeing patients of symptoms with a low rate of re-occurance post extraction; so I am strongly considering this option. Has anyone had a pregnancy post extraction without this blasted thing returning?
