Sounds like there's an Archetype (search Carl Jung Archetypes) that doesn't allow this therapy
to progress. This Archetype must be invited and included in the therapy session(s), until he/she gives permission
for healing. If your psychiatrist is not exploring this you may be "stuck" in therapy forever.
I'm highly intuitive and for what it's worth, you may want to consider that your life is where it is because:
1. An Archetype -or most likely its shadow, which is its negative side- is interfering with your life.
2. Event(s) in your past is (are) locked in your Energy Field in your body, causing an Energetic Imbalance.
3. You have a Reversal within- most likely- your sub-conscious mind. ( You are probably not aware of that. Your sub-conscious is holding on to some "belief" that is not allowing you to move on)
All the above can be treated usually very efficiently, but the key is to have the right Therapist.
Caring ,experienced in the above, able to connect with you, intuitive and non-traditional. I doubt that your psychiatrist has all those attributes.
Traditional Psychotherapy unfortunately is not very successful on the average.
Post again your thoughts and if you need more info.

Hi Friedmini,
Have you considered going to a counsellor as opposed to a psychiatrist? I have been to a psychiatrist and a counsellor at a community centre, and I felt that the counsellor was more supportive and could understand me more. Counsellors are there to help you reach your goals and go over things that have been bothering you in the past and confronting them. I find psychiatrists tend to label things and just find that medication is the answer.
I hope this helps.
I agree communication is very important. Have you gone in to see the therapists at different times of the day? (Please be honest with yourself) Do you feel you need therapy? I am wondering if you are not ready for help. I am not being negative here I believe there is a reason you are angry, feel you are being judged. It may be possible you clash with her personality or she reminds you of someone. Have you tried a male psychiatrist? These are ideas. Also it is said the best times to see a doctor is first thing in the morning or right after lunch. I hope some of this helps. Feel free to drop me a note if you want to chat.
Good luck to you!
Hugs :)
i think that communication is important when it comes to therapy either that or get a new doctor that will be sensitive to your needs :)
