3rd dose

I just took my 3rd 50,000 iu vit d dose today.  I felt really pretty good towards the end of last week, even went to the gym Sat and Sun.  I took my dose today and got very tired, but no achiness yet.  If the pattern holds, I will be achy tomorrow but fingers crossed!

It is telling that I always feel much much worse the day after I take my 50,000 iu of vit d.  Just keeping in the front of my mind (or trying) that I will feel better fri or sat, cause I did last week....hope that holds true this week!  I know I know.. patience

I am interested to see what your levels are too, let me know.  I figure it will take a long time to feel all 'normal' again.  I am taking a multivitamin with 400 iu of vit d on top of the 50,000 (nothing I know) and have actually made it a point to try and get some sun.  I probably wont add additional vitamin d over the counter until I get my blood work (which will be about the last week in Nov.  It is always changing though so who knows.  I was happy for Saturday when I felt so much better that I could exercise, but still I was tired and achy on that Saturday.  AAARRGGHH. I know it will get better, I just think of this as a lesson in patience :)

Hi Kathy.  Be patient.  This will not happen overnight.  I have been supplementing properly (5k/day) since middle of May.  It has been a rollercoaster.  Some days have strength and energy, others have fatigue and weakness.  Still having dizziness but seems to be getting better, but it is a rollercoaster.  It can take 6-12 months so hang in there.,  Just had my D levels checked this morning.  Should be interesting to see where they are at.
