Unwanted pregnancy

am not sure this is the correct forum for this discussion, but if I offend anyone, I am sorry.  I am in my late 20's and have a 21 month old.  I just found out about 2 weeks ago, I am pregnant.  I am not married and the father of the child does not want any children (I don't think he is going to be involved).  I don't know what to do.  I don't want to put up for adoption.  My only options are to have the baby or not to.  I am so confused and hurt.  On one hand, I want to have it and on the other hand my 21 month old is enough for me to handle right now.  I also have a full-time job.

Basically, I will be a single working mother of two.  I am not asking for judgement or put downs.  I am sure that everyone have a political and moral stand put on this issue.  I don't mean to upset anyone.  I just need some honest and nonjudgemental advice.

I read a story about a doctor who had the 'perfect' solution:

He offered to kill the 1 1/2  yr old the woman already had so she wouldn't have to worry about taking care of two babies when the one she was carrying came along.
She freaked out on him.
Then realized as hopefully you do that it would be the same as having an abortion.

Having an abortion effects a woman for the rest of her life. My mom is almost 50 and still has emotional issues due to an abortion she had at 16.

Sure it will be tough but in the end it will be alright. I have two sisters who ended up single moms to two and three kids. With lots of hard work, and of course some slip ups along the way, they have made it thus far

Hello,
I had two abortions as a teenager...at 17 and 19 years old.  I was afraid to be a mother and did not have any familial support...hence the decision to abort.  I am now a 34 year old married mother of 2...and I regret the decisions that I made regularly.  Please do not have an abortion...you may not regret the decision, but if you do...you'll have to live with it for the rest of your life.

Only you can make this decision, but I want to share my sis's story w/ you

She was in the same situation as you. She had a little girl (about 14 months) when she found out she was PG again. She was a single mom and the father told her he did not want the baby and she better abort because he would not be there. She didn't want to give hr baby up, because she said it would tourture her to know she had a child out there somewhere. She aborted. Now, 3 years later she is married and had another child who is 2. She thinks of that baby and said she is very tourtured by her decision and wishes she had goen w/ adoption or even kept the baby.

Everyone is different and deals w/ things in a different way. So, maybe you can handle it better than her, but I'm telling you she looks at her kids and says she feels like someone is misses everyday. Please think this over very carefuly. Adoption is always better than death.

It's a personal choice... but your baby is innocent... i believe if you have this baby.. you won't regret...

I was single mom of 3 for 15 years... I struggled through those years, but I was so happy to have my kids around... Yes, it's a handful, but having a baby is precious and a gift of God.. don't kill the baby just because of your interest... you owe this baby a life.. and you will get through all the hardest time.. PLEASE DO NOT ABORT THIS BABY.  I

I believe there are exception to get abortion, but to abort a baby because you think you can't handle that.. please think more careful...

If the dad doesnt want to involve.. screw him.. when the baby is born, you serve him with a legal paper for child support.. I believe you still have families and friends to support you... I am praying for you to make a right decision... There are alot of couples who are struggling to have a baby.... I know you don't want put up for adoption, but if that is the last option.. still better than get abortion.. if you get abortion, you will regret later and also will damage mentally and emotionally in the future...

Please think careful... if you need an ear, i will lend it to you.. if you need someone you can share, you can email me or send me a private message...

Take care and take it easy.. Don't do things that you might regret later.. talk to someone first...

Good luck
