A mother-of-one chose a crocodile over her husband after he gave her an ultimatum in a desperate attempt to save their marriage.
Vicki Lowing, 52, has hand-raised the crocodile, called Johnie, for 13 years.
It roams freely around her home, sits on her lap when she watches TV, and sleeps in her son's bed at night when she is not there.

If that croc is not a better earner than her husband, she might begin to notice his absence.
See cuddly animals like dogs, cats, even rabbits and hamsters I get but a crocodile. I just can't see the logic in that one. Haha, adgal, I don't think they know their insane....but I think her husband should've known better.
In the Peekawho household you have an easy choice. Mine is tough, of course he is also down with the flu so that means the animals are easier. Well, except for the wee kittens.
Not that I would have a pet crocodile BUT if I had to choose the cats or the hubbie, I'd go with the cats; far less hassle.
It totally get it, except for the part about sleeping in her sons bed.

Hopefully the husband got custody of their son and got him into a safer environment. How could anyone let a crocodile sleep next to their child WHEN THEY'RE NOT SUPERVISED?!
This continues to make me wonder about something that has come up a lot for me lately....do you think insane people actually know they are insane?
