That 'eye' is all important isnt it, I see many folks here have it, I have , and my son also, its a knack of catching that certain something.
Thank you for taking a look, I appreciate it. I love reflections too - and shadows. Photography and composition - they don't always seem go together. I'm trying to talk about that with my teenaged grandson. My daughter, son, and husband all have a good 'eye' for photography, though my son did go through a period of contrived and angled views when he was a teen, which worked okay when he was photographing friends' bands, but not on much else.
This is a nice shot, really interesting,I love reflections ,I used to do a lot of black and white, I turned my kitchen Larder into a dark room, I had a Minolta 8000i and 2 terrific lenses.....I lost some interest in photography when the lense got some mould on it, and the camera needed some work..I havent found digital as facinating.. one thing hasnt changed ,my eye for photography and composition ,we see some wonderful pictures here , have you checked out the members input..
No, I don't have any filters - had only a Pentax K1000. I don't even have a flash attachment or zoom lens for it. I did have an additional zoom lens once, but gave it to my son. I had gotten that lens for my birthday - wanted to take pictures of people at a distance without their knowing (didn't want a reaction or their looking my way). I like to capture bench-sitters and people sitting in/at windows (cafes, etc.).
It's a real cool shot... with the center frame and all.
And, those background reflection elements (including the cars) work within the composition... did you use a polarizing filter?
