Hi Ladies
Our prince came early due to IUGR. As of 28 weeks I started measuring 4 weeks behind so a growth scan was ordered. in all we had 3 growth scans but the last one showed that he had only gained 9 ounces in 2 weeks. So at as of Monday last week he was 4 lbs 10 ounces. At my prenatal appointment the doctor suggested that I see a specialist after my NST on Tuesday and also walk with my bag, Well long story short walked with my bag and was admitted at 2 on Tuesday but wasn"t induced till 10:15 that night with cervido. It took 24 hours for it to really work. Anyway there was a team of doctors waiting around because they thought he would be needing help breathing but my little fighter who had the cord around his neck twice came out needing no help breathing and screaming his head of. He was placed on my breast then taken to the NICU for tests. He was sent home with me on Saturday and all is well in baby land. All the best to you ladies. Oh I was 36 weeks 4 days on delivery and we had a vaginal birth.
